Local Motive market has set up curbside pickup for easier access to local veggies

Anyone looking for locally grown fruits and vegetables who haven’t had the time to visit farmers' markets now has another option

Local Motive Organic Market has set up curbside pickup daily from Tuesday to Saturday for everyone to grab their produce.

The store decided to launch pickup for easier options with social distancing protocols and to encourage people to continue supporting farmers. 

“One thing people are recognizing at this time is that it’s really important to support local farmers and try to reinforce our food system in a way that ensures we do have food production locally,” said Thomas Tumbach, owner of Local Motive. 

Tumbach added that all of the products are packaged in eco-friendly materials and returnable jars for curbside pickup. 

Visit www.localmotivemarket.ca to place an order for curbside pickup between noon and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The orders placed before noon are ready for pickup that same day. Once you arrive, staff will carry out orders to your vehicles for easy pickup.
