Baldy Mountain Resort is launching their season pass sale on August 15, including new options for corporate and families

Ski resort adding new passes

Baldy Mountain Resort will be starting their season pass sale on Aug. 15, 2020.

The resort is changing things up this season, offering two new passes for purchase; a Corporate Season Pass which is transferable amongst employees and a Flexible Family Pass, for the modern family. Also continuing into a second season offering the Parent Pass.

Baldy will be putting in place a season pass payment plan option, which is free of any interest charges and will be spread out over a three-month period. For this upcoming season, the resort is including with all season pass purchases an emergency protection program.

Season pass holders from last year will receive complimentary pass protection coverage for this year's season passes.

Baldy will also be adding new to this season consecutive-use day tickets which offer a 10 per cent savings and will be used for consecutive day visits.

For the 2020/21 season the resort plans to be selling day tickets out of the kiosk between the Day Lodge and Eagle lift to reduce proximity issues. As well, season pass pick-up will be at this location.

Investing over $400,000 into the infrastructure for the upcoming season, Baldy has an upgraded Eagle chairlift, which includes a new electric drive and new AC motor as well as new haul rope.

BMR also worked to improve the unload area of the Sugarlump chairlift, and repaired the McKinney T-bar for opening of the 2020/21 season.

Sugarlump chair faced vandalism during last ski season, prompting a closure and cancellation of  a youth ski race.

They will be installing ticket/pass checking software and gates at the lifts provided by SkiData.

Updates will be coming soon for pricing, with purchasing is available on their website.
