B-day card for grandson found in stash of stolen Penticton mail delivered to rightful owner

A birthday card found in a stash of stolen mail has found its way to its rightful owner. 

RCMP put the call out Tuesday for "Gramma Patti," after arresting a man for mail theft and fraud, and discovering the birthday card for a grandson named Henry amongst the man's stash. 

They asked the public for help making sure the card got to its intended recipient.

On Wednesday, RCMP were happy to say that "Gramma Patti" was located.

"She was able to collect it from the Detachment and deliver it to her grandson," said Cst. James Grandy.
