Smile Cookie Campaign benefitting OSNS Child & Youth Development Centre in Penticton

Smile cookies for OSNS

Grab a Smile Cookie this week from South Okanagan Tim Hortons locations to support the Okanagan Similkameen Neurological Society.

This year, the OSNS Child & Youth Development Centre has been selected by the Stawarz family, who own and operate Tim Hortons locations in the South Okanagan, as the recipient of Smile Cookie fundraising.

From Sept. 13 to Sept. 19, the chocolate chunk cookies topped with pink and blue icing drawing out a smile will be available at every participating Tim Hortons restaurant.

“With the Smile Cookie Campaign starting next week, our team are beyond excited to sell cookies," Nicole MacMillan, South Okanagan Tim Hortons locations owner said in a press release.

"100 per cent of all cookie sales will be donated to the OSNS where we feel so many in our community can benefit from this organization.”

Money raised from the cookies campaign will help support treatment programs offered through the OSNS centre. OSNS focuses on providing education and early intervention treatment to children facing developmental challenges servicing the South Okanagan Similkameen.

“We are sincerely grateful to be connected with the Smile Cookie Campaign," Manisha Willms, executive director of OSNS added.

“A lot of what we do is about helping children achieve new goals – which of course comes with smiles. This initiative supports local kids and is perfect in every way!”

Smile Cookies can be purchased from any one of the restaurants located in Summerland, Penticton, Oliver and Osoyoos in support of OSNS.
