Penticton's Kiwanis Park playground to be closed for renovations

The playground at Kiwanis Park in Penticton will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023.

Crews will be conducting construction work which will take approximately one day.

The City of Penticton reports that heavy equipment will be on-site to remove a large concrete pad where the old washroom building was once situated.

After removal, park visitors can still expect intermittent disruptions for a few weeks while crews landscape.

Anyone visiting the area this week should slow down and watch for machinery. The sports field will remain open.
