Bad day for alleged meth traffickers

It was an unlucky day for two alleged methamphetamine traffickers in the South Okanagan.

Penticton RCMP received information on drug trafficking and stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Main Street.

Corporal Brad Myhre says the vehicle's three occupants were arrested.

“Officers searched the vehicle and the occupants and located approximately 10 grams of crystal methamphetamine and the usual drug dealing paraphernalia,” says Myhre.

He says a 40-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman were charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and released in a JP Bail Hearing.

The third person, a 39-year-old woman, was released with no charges.

All are residents of Penticton.
