Someone made off with a lot of fishing gear over the weekend in the Shuswap region.
Staff Sgt. Scott West said during the day on July 7, an unknown culprit or culprits entered a carport on Peterson Road in Blind Bay. Two five-gallon gas cans were stolen from the carport and the thief or thieves pried open the cargo hatches on the family’s RV.
“Approximately $1,000 in fishing equipment was taken from the RV,” said West.
