A man charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting on the outskirts of Enderby last October returns to court in September for a preliminary inquiry.
Norman Dybdal, 58, is also facing aggravated assault and two firearms charges.
RCMP attended a property in rural Enderby in the early evening of Oct. 19 where officers found a seriously wounded man.
The unidentified victim had been shot several times and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police called the incident a targeted attack.
Dybdal was arrested without incident a short time later.
The accused, who appeared in Salmon Arm provincial court on Tuesday for a pre-trial conference, returns for a two-day preliminary inquiry on Sept. 26-27.
