Kyllo to run again

Shuswap Liberal MLA Greg Kyllo has decided to run for his job once again in next year's provincial election.

Kyllo has been acclaimed by the B.C. Liberal Party as the party’s 2017 candidate for Shuswap riding.

“Our B.C. Liberal government’s plan of growing the economy and creating jobs is working. But there’s more work to be done, and that’s why I’ve decided to run once again,” Kyllo said in a statement issued by the Liberals.

Currently, Kyllo is parliamentary secretary for the B.C. Jobs Plan to the Minister of Jobs, Tourism, and Skills Training. He is also a member of the Treasury Board, a cabinet committee on the economy, and a core review committee.

The MLA has won support from Armstrong Mayor Chris Pieper.

“He is a proven, qualified, get-it-done MLA who listens and delivers for families across his riding,” Pieper said.

Kyllo is a principal of his family’s businesses Twin Anchors Houseboat Vacations and Twin Anchors Manufacturing.

British Columbians head to the polls on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
