As expected, a bomb threat call that led to the evacuation of Shuswap Middle School on Monday was a hoax, confirmed Salmon Arm RCMP.
The entire school population, including around 600 students, were evacuated following the hoax call.
Police are taking the matter seriously and continue to investigate the threats call, said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk, RCMP spokesperson.
Anyone with information on who may be involved in the incident is asked to call the Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
