Highway 1 was closed Thursday morning after a vehicle incident between Tappen and Salmon Arm.
UPDATE: 9:05 a.m.
DriveBC reports a crash that closed the Trans-Canada Highway this morning between Tappen and Salmon Arm has now been cleared and the highway has reopened.
ORIGINAL: 8:30 a.m.
A vehicle incident has closed Highway 1 between Tappen and Salmon Arm.
DriveBC says the highway is closed to all traffic, except emergency vehicles, between the Trans-Canada Highway frontage road and 2nd Nations Road for 3.2 kilometres.
Crews are on the scene.
The next update from DriveBC is scheduled for 10 a.m.
