Steve Moore of the Colorado Avalanche has spoken to reporters for the first time since he had his neck broken when he was suckered punched by Vancouver Canucks' tough guy Todd Bertuzzi.
Moore -- wearing a neck brace -- appeared to be in good spirits as he was peppered with questions.
He refused to talk specifically about the Bertuzzi incident because it's still under investigation by Vancouver City Police. He added that he hasn't spoken to Bertuzzi since the attack, however, he did say such incidents have no place in hockey.
Moore added that his goal is to return to the NHL and that he's received letters of support from around the world and even flowers from Kuwait.
