Canada improved to 2-0 at the world under-18 men's hockey championship Saturday with a 7-2 win over host Belarus. Canadian goaltender Justin Pogge of Penticton earned the win. Canada, the defending champion, faces Denmark Sunday before concluding pool play in Group A against the U.S. on Tuesday.

• The Calgary Flames returned to their hardworking, tight defensive style of game and earned a 2-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks Friday night to tie their first-round NHL playoff series.
• Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri has conceded the Premier League title to Arsenal. Chelsea's chances slipped badly in a scoreless draw against Middlesbrough on Saturday at Stamford Bridge. The loss came a day after Arsenal rallied to beat Liverpool 4-2.
