Vernon historian Francois Arseneault's latest find is video footage of an environmental protest on Okanagan Lake, likely from about 1976.
The video shows a flotilla of boats and canoes, believed to be in the Kelowna area, as the boaters protest the use of the herbicide 2,4-d.
The chemical was used to control milfoil weeds in the lake until public protest ended the practice.
