GoFundMe created for family involved in Enderby collision

Fundraiser for crash victims

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to raise funds for a family who was involved in a serious crash near Enderby last Wednesday.

The webpage says the fundraiser was created by Keoryn Davis on behalf of the Palmateer-Lien family.

According to the page, five members of the family were taken to hospital.

On the day of the crash, North Okanagan RCMP confirmed three vehicles were involved in the collision, which occurred around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

BC Emergency Health Services reported five patients were admitted to hospital. Two were airlifted from the scene in critical condition, and three transported by ambulance.

“Unfortunately Lindsay has since passed away from her injuries,” the page says.

“Matt is still in hospital recovering from numerous injuries.”

Information on the page indicates the couple had six children, three of whom were involved in the crash, admitted to hospital, and later released. The GoFundMe statement says the three older boys were not involved in the accident.
