Water main break on Mission Hill cuts service to Commonage Place

A water main break has cut service to some residents of Mission Hill in Vernon.

The City of Vernon says crews are responding to the break, located at an easement on the 1400 block of Mission Road between the Jehovah's Witness kingdom hall and the Noric House long-term care home.

Water service has been interrupted to about 20 residential properties on Commonage Place.

Crews anticipate the repairs will take four to five hours to complete, the city says.
