A three-vehicle crash on the 4000 block of 32nd Street briefly slowed Highway 97 traffic through Vernon just before 1 p.m.
Three vehicles collided in the chain-reaction pile-up.
Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance, although injuries and damage to the vehicles did not appear to be serious.
RCMP, firefighters and BC Ambulance paramedics responded to the scene, in front of the Royal LePage building and across the highway from the Vernon Lodge hotel.
