A detour for a portion of 32nd Avenue in Vernon is planned this week for the installation of a storm service.
On Thursday, 32nd Avenue will be accessible to local traffic only between 26th Street and 27th Street.
The work will begin at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to be completed the same day, however the timeline may change if emergencies arise.
Motorists should expect some delays in the area.
“The city appreciates everyone’s patience while this project is being completed,” said city spokesperson Christy Poirier.
