A snow-free forecast is a good thing for the Township of Spallumcheen.
On Jan. 13, the North Okanagan posted it is currently short two plow trucks due to technical breakdowns.
“The dedicated staff have already repaired one plow truck and are working to repair the remaining two as fast as possible,” the notice on the township's website said. “We will have the fleet up and running again as soon as possible. There will be delays with snow removal on priority two roads for the time being.”
Fortunately, Environment Canada is calling for only a 30 per cent chance of flurries in the next 24 hours and nothing but cloudy skies for the next few days.
