Shea Gardecki to face trial Sept. 25 for alleged voyeurism in Vernon

Voyeurism trial set

A trial date has been set for a North Okanagan man accused of voyeurism.

Shea Gardecki is charged with a single count of voyeurism following an incident alleged to have occurred on Dec. 21, 2022, in Vernon.

Details of the case are under a publication ban.

Dan McLaughlin, communications counsel with the BC Prosecution Service, confirms Gardecki will go on trial in Vernon Sept. 25.

The trial is expected to last three days.

Gardecki was previously acquitted in a case in which he had been accused of assaulting two women after crawling into bed with them.

He was found not guilty in 2018 after he was alleged to have broken into a Kelowna townhouse and fondled two sleeping women.

Gardecki lived in Peachland at the time, but now lists Armstrong as his place of residence on his Facebook page.
