A section of a popular North Okanagan hiking trail overlooking Kalamalka Lake has been closed to allow BC Hydro to do work in the area.
The Regional District of North Okanagan says the Kal Crystal Waters Trail north of Bailey Road/Kekuli Bay will remain closed through Feb. 17 as BC Hydro completes transmission line upgrades.
"We ask trail users to be cautious and courteous of flag people and construction signage," the RDNO urges.
The closure is in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
The trail will remain open to the public over the weekend.
