Canada has finalized its roster for the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship

Korczak makes final roster

Kelowna Rockets defenceman Kaedan Korczak has survived the final round of cuts, and will skate with Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships.

The event is slated to begin Christmas Day in Edmonton.

Korczak has spent the better part of the past month at the teams selection camp.

The camp was interrupted after some players and personnel tested positive for COVID-19, forcing the team into quarantine for 14 days.

The 19-year-old Vegas Golden Knights draft choice led the Rockets blueline last season with 11 goals and 38 assists in 60 games.

He's one of three Rockets who could suit up at the event.

Forward Pavel Novak and defenceman Michael Krutil are both at the Czech Republic's training camp.

Canada takes on Germany in its first game on Boxing Day.
