Three Kamloops Blazers named to the B.C. Hub Team of the Week

Blazers headline Hub Team

The Kamloops Blazers make up half of the Western Hockey League Remax B.C. Hub Team of the Week.

Connor Zary, Quinn Schmiemann and homegrown Logan Stankoven are three of the six players named to the team for the week of March 21.

After two games played, Zary has tallied one goal and three assists.

Stankoven produced three goals — one being the game winner against Prince George on Saturday — and one assist through the two contests.

Schmiemann posted one goal and two assists for three points during the games against Vancouver and Prince George.

The Blazers are 2-0 after back-to-back contests and were supposed to play Tuesday night in Kelowna, but that game was postponed due to a confirmed positive COVID-19 test in the Kelowna Rockets staff.

There is no current makeup date announced.

The Blazers are slated to face off against the Victoria Royals on Thursday at Prospera Place.
