Kelowna Rockets bounced back Saturday with a nail-biting 6-4 win in Victoria Saturday

Colton Dach made his presence felt in his debut with the Kelowna Rockets Saturday night.

The newly acquired forward scored once, fired seven shots on goal and was dominant winning 12 of 18 faceoffs.

Dach was named the game's first star, leading the Rockets to a bounce-back 6-4 victory before more than 2,100 fans in Victoria.

Andrew Cristall had a goal and an assist to pace the Rockets attack. Caden Price and Max Graham each bagged their first WHL goals while Jake Poole and Tyson Feist also scored as six different Rockets found the back of the net.

The Rockets opened the scoring as they did the night before but, unlike Friday night, the Rockets didn't allow the Royals to get away from them.

On three different occasions, the Royals managed to tie the game, but each time, the Rockets answered with the next goal.

With the game tied at 3-3, the Rockets went ahead for good when Poole beat Tyler Palmer to the far side with a wrist shot from the right circle off the rush.

Price scored what proved to be the winner three minutes later when his wrist shot from the left point found its way past Palmer.

Nursing a one-goal lead late in the game, Max Graham iced it with his first into an empty net.

Cole Tisdale earned his first win of the season and first since he joined the Rockets on an emergency basic during the 2017-2018 season.

He stopped 18 shots to earn the win.

Both teams were 2-3 with the man advantage.

The Rockets return home to host the Kamloops Blazers in their home opener next Friday night.
