Kelowna Rockets release 2022-23 road-game schedule

Rockets release road slate

The Kelowna Rockets have released their road-game schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

After opening the season at home on September 24, the Rockets will hit the road travelling to Prince George to take on the Cougars Friday, September 30 in their first game away from Prospera Place.

After COVID cancelled East versus West matchups, the WHL will return to interdivisional play with all 22 Western Hockey League teams set to face off this season at one point or another.

The Rockets will visit Central Division teams including the Calgary Hitmen, Edmonton Oil Kings, Lethbridge Hurricanes, Medicine Hat Tigers, Red Deer Rebels and the Swift Current Broncos.

The Rockets’ longest road trip will feature two four-game stints from December 10 to December 17 when they visit Vancouver, Swift Current, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. Then again between March 11 and 17 when they come through Spokane, Tri-City, Prince George and Kamloops.

The Rockets will be a part of 12 back-to-backs and four different three-in-three weekends.

Kelowna will wrap the season with a home-and-home against the Vancouver Giants on March 24 and 25.
