Three members of the Kelowna Rockets are among those listed in the latest NHL Central Scouting rankings

3 Rockets on draft report

Three members of the Kelowna Rockets could hear their names called from the NHL draft floor in Nashville, Tenn. next June

Forwards Andrew Cristall and Gabriel Szturc and defenceman Caden Price are among 224 North American skaters listed on NHL Central Scouting's mid season rankings of draft eligible players.

Cristall is ranked 16th among North American skaters making him, once European players are factored in, a likely pick in the back half of the first round.

The 17-year-old Burnaby native is second in Western Hockey League scoring with 26 goals and 36 assists through 36 games.

He was listed as an A rated player in the previous rankings list.

Price is ranked 30th, making him a likely second round selection while Szturc, who was passed over during his first year of draft eligibility in 2022, is ranked 181.

Szturc, who had five goals and eight points for Czechia at the recently completed world juniors, is second in team scoring with 10 goals and 27 assists in 27 games. He would likely be a late round pick.

Rankings will change between now and the draft.

Regina Pats forward Connor Bedard remains the top rated prospect followed by fellow centres Adam Fantilli and William Smith.

Swedish centre Leo Carlsson is the top rated European skater.

Brandon's Carson Bjarnason is the top rated goaltender.
