80-year-old drives into A&W

RCMP tell Castanet there has been another incident of a car crashing into a business, this one actually had a drive-thru but that's not where the car ended up.

West Kelowna RCMP say they were called to a business in the 5500-block of Clements Crescent in Peachland on Friday, just after 12:30 p.m.

The 2012 Toyota Camry, was being driven by a woman in her 80s when it struck the wall of the business.

"It is believed that the cause of the collision was driver error," according to Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy.

The 80-year-old driver was uninjured but one staff member at the business suffered minor injuries.
