Videographer captures storm as it moves across Okanagan Lake

Storm moves across water

Rob Gibson

In case you have forgotten how awesome it is to live in the Okanagan, John Conybeer managed to take a video that shows how awe-inspiring the scenery can be.

Conybeer captured Monday night's storm as it made its way across Okanagan Lake from his vantage point in Peachland.

The camera starts on a spectacular rainbow that appears to be right on the edge of the storm as it moves across the water in the north, and as he pans south towards Penticton, you can see that the storm disappears as if it wasn't there at all.

Environment Canada is calling for an overnight low of 9 C into Wednesday morning and a 60 percent chance of showers in the afternoon and evening with an overnight low of 8 C forecast.
