Kelowna Community Music School is thrilled to announce the development of their new Bursary program! Applicants will now be able to apply for their bursaries prior to the academic year, making private and group music lessons more accessible for low income families. Applications for Fall 2021 open May 3rd, and run to July 2nd . Families interested in applying can head to kelownacommunitymusicschool.ca and click on the “Scholarships and Bursaries” tab.

To celebrate, KCMS is releasing their new Donation page through Canada Helps. Those wishing to donate to the bursary or scholarship programs at KCMS can head to https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/53194. If you donate between May 1st to May 31st, you will be treated to a special performance of Spanish music by our faulty members Martin Kratky and Paul Dykstra – the link to their recorded performance will appear after the donation has been made. This performance has been specially created for this event, so donate now for an experience you won’t hear anywhere else!
